The World Aquatics Medical Delegate is responsible for oversight of all medical aspects of the event and for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of Athletes, Technical Officials, and other registered and approved participants. During a World Aquatics Event, the World Aquatics Medical Delegate will have a consultative and expertise role only, and will not practise medicine.
